The Empty Space - a temporary exhibition space/ pop-up gallery in a vacant store in Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv, Israel. I invited artists from different stages of their career to “take-over” the space for a period of 1-14 days. This project, co-founded with artist(-curator) Lenny Guant, was an entirely independent initiative, in which we managed and assembled a bricolage of over 20 artists participating during its 2 months operation. Installations by Dorit Figovich Godard, Adi Weizmann and Noa Tavori, Yoav Efrati, Chen Cohen, Tal Shalem, to performances by dancer Alex Clair, Tamar Rosenzweig and more, together we blatantly interacted with the dark reality of lockdown and its jarring consequences on independent businesses and artists.
